Meet George Briner: George Briner hails from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and attended college in Durango, Colorado. Shortly after college, George moved to Los Angeles to work at a record store. George began his work in the music industry working for KZLA, Los Angles’ only Country Music radio station. He continued his career in Country Music when he started working for Warner Brothers Records in regional promotion and created an Artist Relations position while there. Throughout the years, George has worked at other record labels in Nashville like Giant Records, Magneton, Curb Universal, Dreamworks, MCA, and BNA. His most recent stint at a label has been at The Valory Music Co., a part of the Big Machine Label Group. George recently passed his 14th year working for The Valory Music Co. and was recently promoted to President of the company. Over his career, George has associated with over 100 #1 Country Songs and in the past 30+ years in the business, he feels blessed to have worked with some of the best artists, songwriters, producers, and label heads.
