In 1999, Wes began to sing harmonies on the road with the King of Country Music, George Strait as part of his Ace In The Hole band.
As a songwriter, Wes has had cuts on Montgomery Gentry, Gary Allan, Josh Thompson, Gene Watson, Sammy Kershaw, and several independent Texas artists. Wes has also produced music with fellow Texan artists Aaron Watson and Matt Caldwell. He currently lives in Florida with his wife but still can record his work remotely, making him one of the most successful Nashville musicians working today.
What Bart has to say: Wes is a perfect example of how in Nashville, the most successful people are the nicest people. I’ve been wanting to have him as a guest but wanted to do it in person. The self-quarantine and boom of Zoom calls helped to make this happen and I’m so glad it did! I had a blast catching up with my buddy.
